RAW CACAO RASPBERRY ALMOND BUTTER

At its best black. The fruit that makes this roast worth stopping early is the first thing milk flattens.

A coffee breeze

The lightest roast in the range

The rest of the range is roasted darker. This one is stopped early, while the fruit is still in the bean. Raspberry and almond butter over raw cacao, and a finish sweet enough to drink black on a warm morning.

Named after the beach it was built for. A lighter, brighter cup for people who find the Italian roast too heavy in summer.

01

Stopped early

A medium light roast. Pulled before the sugars caramelise all the way, which is what leaves the raspberry in the cup.

02

Three origins, no robusta

Colombia, Guatemala and Panama. All arabica, all from the same side of the world, so the profile stays clean rather than heavy.

03

Espresso or batch brew

The only blend here that works either way. Long and black in the morning, short and sweet after lunch.

Change the grind before you change the beans.

Extra fine grind

Extra fine

Persian / Ibrik

Closer to flour than to salt. Boiled in the pot and never filtered, so nothing is left behind.

Fine grind

Fine

Espresso machine

Like table salt. Twenty-five to thirty seconds under nine bars of pressure.

Medium grind

Medium

Moka · Aeropress · Paper filter

Like coarse sand. Water passes through under its own weight, so it needs the surface area.

Coarse grind

Coarse

Plunger · Cold brew

Like raw sugar. Minutes or hours of contact, so extraction has to happen slowly.

Every blend

Roasted in Australia

Green beans arrive here and are roasted to order in small batches. Nothing is roasted overseas and nothing is blended after the fact.
